22 Year Old Amanda Gorman
The entire speech is profound. The ending verse really spoke to me. Referring to the light/hope:
“...if only we’re brave enough to see it. If only we’re brave enough to be it.” Amanda Gorman
We need more lights in this world. We need hope. We need to not just talk it but walk it. No more cry babies (Dems and Reps). Time to buck up and work to build a better future for our kids. Start today. Racism didn’t end today. Injustice still prevails in every walk of life. The fight isn’t over but we can’t give up hope or continue fighting and dividing.
We gotta stop feeding our kids fear and how disappointing our government is and start giving them hope in how they can change our government for the better. Tell them our country can still come together to keep America’s heartbeat pumping full of freedom and justice. We can’t give up hope. We still must fight to live in the land of the FREE and the home of the BRAVE.
BE BRAVE
